Series Information and Helpful Links!
- Tasūketsu has 2 cours. However, you can easily watch the recap at the beginning of episode 11 and then watch the second cour!
- The official name for the series is: '多数欠', or 'Tasūketsu' (this also is reflected in the katakana on the official Twitter banner, as the katakana reads: 'タスウケス') . However, the series name was localized to 'Tasuketsu', dropping the extra 'u'. The two have become somewhat interchangeable because of this.(Thank you SangriaPenguin on Reddit for pointing this out!)
- "多数 = ta suu = great number = majority. Majority rule is 多(ta) 数(suu) 決(ketsu) where 決(ketsu) means decision. However, the kanji for the show title is 多数欠 where 欠, here read as ketsu, refers to 欠ける(kakeru) which means to be missing. Therefore 多数欠(Tasūketsu) means great number missing which clearly denotes the fact that in the story those in the majority for each question die." Quoted directly from episode 7's thread by AspiringSaint
- You can watch Tasūketsu on Crunchyroll!
- Tasūketsu has an information website dedicated to its anime– however, it doesn’t have an English version 😞
- There’s an official soundtrack that you can listen to on Youtube.
- Tasūketsu has two opening and two ending soundtracks:
Opening 1: “EMPEROR TIME” Viva Rush
Opening 2: “Fly Higher” Travis Japan
Ending 1: “GAME OVER” issey
Ending 2: “REASONS” Aina Aiba

Specific Episode Breakdowns
<aside>
❕
There are spoilers in this section if you have not finished watching the series.
- Breakdowns are meant to help explain and supplement after watching an episode.
- Breakdowns are based on episode subtitles and are meant to allow anyone who has watched an episode a way a “f*** go back!” without having to parse through 24 minutes of content. Who wants to do that!
- Because Breakdowns take a long time to write and organize(often 4-6 hours), some will be posted at a later time and Key Notes will be posted prior to them.
- Key Notes are essentially the TL;DRs from an episode.
- Key Notes are the important pieces of information from the episode summaries that either are meaningful, have plot developments, or were important to the episode.
- Some episodes do not have Key Notes because of how important the information is from that episode. Sometimes it is also because it would be repeating everything from the breakdown portion and be a bit redundant to do so.
- Episodes 4-16 were created using markdown for Reddit and therefore have a bit of a different format to them! Sorry about that!
